The BSA Bantam 350 Is In India to Challenge Royal Enfield

The world of motorcycling is filled with legendary names, and BSA, with its rich British heritage, is a name that resonates deeply. After a long period of silence, the brand is roaring back to life, and it’s doing so with a motorcycle that carries a name as iconic as the brand itself: the Bantam.

The original Bantam was a humble two-stroke that, in the years following World War II, helped put a nation on two wheels. Now, more than half a century later, the Bantam returns, but it’s a very different machine for a very different time. The new Bantam 350 is a modern classic, a bike that blends retro style with contemporary engineering.

The Triumph Thruxton 400 Launches in India

The classic café racer has always been a symbol of speed and style, a motorcycle stripped down for performance and defined by its distinctive look. Now, that legacy is getting a modern, accessible twist with the launch of the Triumph Thruxton 400.

I’ve written about this bike previously, and I’ll be honest, I’m pretty excited about it. It’s good to see Triumph deliver on what had been rumored and discussed for so long.

This custom Triumph Bonneville T100, born from the legendary workshop of Japan’s Heiwa Motorcycles. Kengo Kimura, the quiet genius behind Heiwa, is a man known for conjuring both wild showpieces and these delightful, everyday custom machines.

For this particular project, Kimura-san chose an older, air-cooled 2000 model Bonneville T100, packing a 790cc engine. A smart choice, as these are more accessible and perfectly suited for what he envisioned: a true “bar hopper.”

Fewer than 400 Charging Stations Built Despite $7.5 Billion In Federal Funding for Infrastructure

Sometimes, even the grandest plans hit a roadblock, not of asphalt, but of bureaucracy. Such, it seems, is the tale of America’s electric vehicle charging stations. Another of the many failings of the US Federal Government.

Fewer than a measly 400 charging stations were built despite there being $7.5 billion approved for Infrastructure spending under Biden. So if you want to ride electric motorcycles, you’re still pretty limited on where you can go.

The Triumph Thruxton 400 Is Coming Soon

For too long, the Thruxton has been a machine of noble displacement. But now, a new chapter is set to begin, proving that big character doesn’t always need a big engine.

Word on the street is that Triumph is readying a pint-sized Thruxton for an August debut: the Thruxton 400. Born from Triumph’s clever partnership with Bajaj, it’s designed to bring that heritage, that feeling of pure, unadulterated motorcycling, to a wider audience, in much the same way the Scrambler 400X does.
