Cardo and Schuberth to Launch SC EDGE Communication System

Schuberth and Cardo new SC EDGE bluetooth communicator

The road ahead just got a little quieter—or at least, a lot clearer. Cardo Systems and Schuberth are back together, rekindling a partnership that first turned heads in 2009 with the SRC system. Their latest brainchild, the SC EDGE, is set to roll out in 2025, giving riders seamless, top-tier communication without the fuss.

Built on Cardo’s PACKTALK EDGE platform, the SC EDGE is a tailor-made fit for Schuberth’s premium helmets, including the C5 Carbon, E2 Carbon, and the all-new J2. This isn’t just another Bluetooth headset—this is plug-and-play at its finest, with pre-fitted speakers, an integrated antenna, and a design that vanishes into the helmet like it was born there.

The Cardo and Schuberth SC EDGE Communication System Sounds Great

Riders can expect Cardo’s 2nd-gen Dynamic Mesh Communication (DMC) for crystal-clear group chats, Bluetooth 5.2, natural voice control, and a 1.6km range—because shouting at your buddies at highway speeds is so last century. And with an IPX5 waterproof rating, this communicator won’t flinch at a sudden downpour.

Schuberth’s Matteo Schieppati calls it an “authentic premium experience,” while Cardo’s Shachar Harari sees it as the next step in their shared mission: making sure riders stay connected, no matter where the road leads.

This new SC EDGE will use Cardo’s PACKTALK EDGE (shown above) as its base.

Set to launch in Spring 2025, the SC EDGE promises a future-proof, high-tech, and hassle-free riding experience. Pricing? That’s still under wraps, but given the pedigree behind it, expect a system that’s as refined as the helmets it was built for.
