Just a few days ago, I posted an article about the new Cake Makka. Now there’s the Makka Polestar Edition.
Both Cake and Polestar are committed to an electrified, clean future of mobility, and this partnership that birthed the Cake Makka Polestar Edition makes perfect sense for both brands.
The bike is mostly just a fancy version of the Makka, but the tweaks to the model are notable. Let’s take a closer look.
The Makka Polestar Edition Goes More Premium
The Makka Polestar Edition comes in matte snow with pure and progressive design including slim headlights and Öhlins dampers.
The bike is specifically designed from an aesthetics standpoint to pair with the Polestar 2.
There’s even a tray-style hitch rack on the Polestar 2 for transport and seamless mobile charging.Â
This allows you to drive you Polestar with your Makka on the rack. You park somewhere and then ride the Makka the rest of the way to your destination. This makes sense for urbanites who might have to park far from the office or someone who wants to cruise a specific area but doesn’t want to ride the bike all the way there.
The Makka Polestar Edition costs $5,292. That’s a pretty high dollar amount, but the clientle that Cake is targeting here are probably on board with that price. This is a niche product, and Cake knows its audience. While not for everyone, it’s definitely the right bike for someone.
