Alpinestars AMT-10 Drystar XF Gloves Details
There’s a lot to love about the AMT-10 Drystar XF Gloves. These long-cuff gloves are designed to provide you with the feel you need to access and manipulate the controls of your motorcycle while also giving you the protection from the elements winter gear needs to have—not to mention the important accident protection all motorcycle gloves need.
In order to keep your hands nice and toasty on the road, the gloves have 133g PrimaLoft Gold insulation. There’s over-injected knuckle hard armor for effective impact protection.
Hands get cold if they get wet or sweaty, so Alpinestars endowed these gloves with a Modular Laminated Drystar XF membrane for breathability. The membrane has hydrophilic technology that absorbs water vapor.
The outside of the gloves provides 100 percent waterproof capability thanks to a goatskin construction and the aforementioned membrane. Add to all this the ARshield reinforcement on side of the hand, leather accordion-style expansion on joints, innovative over-cuff design, finger bridge to help keep fingers from getting twisted in an accident, and touchscreen-compatible thumb and forefinger, and you have some of the best cold weather gloves on the market.
I think Alpinestars has a winner with these winter gloves, and as someone who regularly rides in the winter, I’m pretty excited to see these become available. Check out the gloves on Alpinestar’s website or at Motard Inn.
