Feast your eyes on this 1974 MV Agusta 750S. It is one of only 583 models ever built. It is currently for sale at auction with Car & Classic.
Typically, I don’t post about bikes for sale, but this one is worth it. The rarity alone makes it worth it, but this is a truly beautiful example, too.
Let’s take a closer look at this amazing machine.
The MV Agusta 750S Was Special And Still Is
From 1970 to 1975 MV Agusta built 583 of the 750S motorcycles and the gorgeous cafe racer style bike came with an exceptionally high price tag.
The bike features a transverse, inline four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 743cc. It made 72 hp at 9,200 rpm and had a top speed of 120 mph.
In its day it was one of the highest-performing motorcycles around.
This example has been restored to a concourse standard by Giovanni Magni, the son of Racing Director for MV Agusta for roughly three decades Arturo Magni.
The bike has 25,367 kilometers on the odometer and is currently located in Italy. Bidding starts today, May 11.
