If you ride a motorcycle, then at some point you’re going to want a leather motorcycle jacket. You might be holding off on this purchase because you think it’s going to be expensive, but there are plenty of leather motorcycle jackets under $200.
These leather jackets will give you everything you need to stay protected on the bike, including strong materials and good construction, and—in some cases—even armor for your shoulders and elbows.
I thought I’d do a search and pull together a list of the five best leather motorcycle jackets under $200. Without further ado, here they are.
1. BILT Alder Leather Jacket
The BILT Alder leather motorcycle jacket blends retro styling with modern construction. It has a cafe racer look to it, and it will look good on any retro-styled bike or practically any cruiser motorcycle.
The jacket features full-grain leather with a semi-aged finish. The jacket has a classic square cut style, perforated panels for airflow on the front of the jacket and on the back, a detachable quilted liner, quality metal zippers, hand warmer pockets, chest pockets, and CE armor in the shoulders and elbows.

2. BILT Abbot Leather Jacket
Another BILT jacket, the Abbot is a seriously killer leather motorcycle jacket that will work for practically any rider who rides a street bike. It’s simple, tough, and attractive looking.
The BILT Abbot features full-grain leather, pepper-punch venting on the front and back of the jacket, a main liner designed to help move air, a low-profile neoprene collar, zippered front and rear vents for additional airflow, expandable gussets on the shoulders, a quilted liner for when it gets cold, zippered exterior pockets, adjustment at the waist, and CE armor in the shoulders and elbows.

3. Street & Steel Outlander Jacket
This jacket is an absolute bargain. It brings leather construction with a low price tag. The Street & Steel Outlander Jacket will work for basically any street rider, meaning you can wear this on about any bike out there.
The jacket features full-grain leather construction, excellent venting for airflow under the arms and on the front and back, waist adjusters, a removable 80g thermal vest liner, mesh air-flow lining, a concealed carry pocket inside the jacket, zippered exterior pockets, loops for pants attachment, and a reflective stripe for added visibility.

4. First Manufacturing Cutlass Jacket
Okay, I cheated here a little bit. The First Manufacturing Cutlass Jacket isn’t totally made of leather, but the jacket still offers a lot of leather and it looks killer, so I’m going to count it.
The jacket offers rough neck raw denim on the front and back. On the sleeves and collar, you’ll find leather. There are also covered snaps, a cropped central zipper, two chest pockets, two side pockets, and two interior pockets that can be used for concealed carry. There are zippered sleeves with oil sand leather gussets, a mesh liner, YKK zippers and pockets for armor, which is sold separately.

5. Viking Cycle Nomad USA Angle Fire Classic Leather Motorcycle Jacket
The Viking Cycle USA Angel Fire jacket you see above is another great option. I’ve listed it last, but not because it’s the fifth-best. It’s a truly killer jacket that will work for cruiser riders or cafe riders or anyone on a more retro-styled bike.
The jacket features full-grain cowhide leather, zippered pockets and one snap pocket, interior pockets, an adjustable waist strap, the classic offset zipper and collar design, and zippered cuffs.
