Affordability and breathability are the focuses of these jackets.
Warm weather is here and that means you should find the good summer motorcycle jackets and buy one.
Recently, I got an email from a reader asking about the best jackets for hot weather, so I thought it was good to touch on this.
When it comes to summer motorcycle jackets, you need to look for something that provides breathability. Airflow is very important, but you also want to make sure the jacket still provides some good protection. Here are some great options under $250.
Icon Mesh AF CE Jacket
Stylish and available in several colors, the Icon Mesh AF Jacket is perfect for hot weather riding. It’s all in the name. Mesh AF means it will move a lot of air, which means you’ll stay comfortable as the temperature rises.
The jacket still offers good protection, too. It gets a durable textile chassis and removable CE-certified armor on the shoulders, elbows, and back. It features curved arms and reflective accents for visibility. The gray color you see above has hi-viz accents for additional visibility.

REV’IT! Eclipse Jacket
The REV’IT! Eclipse Jacket is simple and stylish with a full mesh construction made from polyester 600D material. It features Knox Flexiform CE protection on the shoulders and elbows and has room for a back protector. It’s one of my favorite jackets on sale today.
This motorcycle jacket is what you should get if you’re looking for something that’s offered in a lot of different colors and has mostly a solid, single color throughout the jacket.

Fly Racing Street Flux Air Jacket
Fly Racing makes some really great gear for super low prices, and the Fly Racing Street Flux Air Jacket is no exception. It’s a great mesh jacket that will move a lot of air around your body, it looks great, and it offers good protection.
You’re getting high abrasion impact panels at the shoulder, yoke, and back of your arms, as well as CE Level 1 armor at the shoulders and elbows. There’s a drop tail for additional coverage, adjustments on the sleeves and cuffs, a few pockets, YKK zippers, and a pocket for an optional back protector. It’s the most affordable of these three jackets, and it has just as many if not more features.
