Ducati’s rolling out the red carpet for the 2025 Multistrada V4 family, and it’s doing so with a touch of swagger. We’re talking tweaks, not overhauls, but the devil’s in the details—and Ducati knows how to make details sing.
Updates for 2025 Make the Ducati Multistrada V4 Better Than Ever
First up: that front end. It’s been sculpted like a boxer’s jawline—still aggressive, still mean—but with a bit more focus on keeping the elements from smacking you in the face. The headlight? Redesigned to clear up shadows near the front wheel. And in the rear, there’s now the Ducati Brake Light Evo—essentially a slow-speed flasher to make sure anyone behind knows you’re gearing down.
Then there’s the swingarm pivot, shifted up by a hair—a single millimeter. Sounds like splitting atoms, but on a fully loaded bike, that’s enough to keep squat under control.
The engine’s still the heart-thumping 1,158cc V4 Granturismo, throwing down 170 horsepower. But here’s a neat trick: the rear cylinder bank now takes a nap not just at stoplights but during low-speed cruising, keeping things cool when you’re in the thick of it.
Lighter wheels—2 kilos shaved off, thank you very much—mean less unsprung mass and sharper handling. And if you’ve got short legs or just need a bit of grace at low speeds, the V4 S now automatically drops down, lowering the preload when you’re crawling through traffic. Hit 50 km/h, and the bike pops back to its original stance.
Passenger comfort got a nod, too. Case mounts are pushed back for a little more wiggle room. And for 2025, Ducati’s suspension system now has bump detection—handy when you hit a pothole that feels like it could’ve swallowed a Fiat.
Sportier for Pikes Peak
The V4 Pikes Peak model? It’s all about the sport. Öhlins suspension, a 17-inch front wheel, and Ducati’s Race Riding Mode. It skips the Enduro stuff—this one’s built for asphalt and attitude, with some racy graphics to back it up.
Europe will see these beauties in October 2024, but if you’re elsewhere, check with your Ducati dealer because these won’t sit long.
