Harley’s Sales Dropped: Not What HD Was Hoping For

Notably, LiveWire EV motorcycle sales increased by 98% year on year in Q3 of 2024, selling 99 units globally. Although this represents an improvement from the 50 units sold in Q3 of 2023, it is still modest. The report does not specify the number of LiveWire versus StaCyc children’s electric bikes sold.

The data from the past two years shows a fluctuating trend in Harley-Davidson Motorcycle Shipments and Motorcycle Sales, with Q2 of 2023 being the only quarter to show a minimal increase in sales compared to the previous year. LiveWire reporting has evolved over time, with a shift from Electric Motorcycle Shipments to Electric Motorcycle Sales starting from Q1 of 2024.

Harley-Davidson LiveWire

The data visualization presented in the report aims to provide a comprehensive view of the trends and performance of Harley-Davidson and LiveWire in the past two years, allowing for a better understanding of their financial standing and potential future direction.
