The K 1600 has been a bike that touring riders have flocked to for years, but this updated bagger version is seriously no joke.

The BMW K 1600 B Is a Killer Touring Motorcycle
The best thing about the BMW K 1600 B is just how versatile it is. The bike can be ridden like a cruiser touring machine, but once you get on it it’s a true sport touring machine.
Adam Waheed of Motorcyclist came away from his ride on the bike impressed. In his full written review he said:
“Sport-oriented luxury-touring riders will love the pedigree of BMW’s K 1600 platform. It’s fast when you want to zoom, yet equally capable purring placidly down the freeway for hours on end. Aside from the feet-cooking floorboards and the somewhat peculiar smartphone/app navigation integration, performance-minded riders will adore what the big-six BMW brings to the table.”
That’s a hell of an endorsement. While I usually shy away from 800-pound touring machines, this one sounds truly engaging and like something you should check out if you’re really logging a lot of miles each year.
