2020 Harley-Davidson LiveWire Review: MC Commute

The Harley-Davidson LiveWire Is the Company’s First Bike

Say what you will about the 2020 Harley-Davidson LiveWire the motorcycle is definitely a conversation starter.

In this video, Adam Waheed of Motorcyclist Magazine takes the bike for a spin to show you what the bike is all about.

I’m not going to lie. I find the LiveWire to be frankly ridiculous. Harley has plenty of other areas it can improve instead of jumping into the electric motorcycle scene, but the company is here now, so it might as well make the most of this bike.

The LiveWire has reasonable performance numbers, that Waheed touches on in the MC Commute video above. My issue with this bike is the price. It’s nearly $30,000. For the range and performance numbers, that’s simply too much.

Price is honestly my biggest complaint with all of Harley’s motorcycles. While they have some reasonably priced machines, they’re more expensive than the Japanese counterparts and those bikes are just as good if not better.

I love Harley, and I hope the LiveWire is a success for them, but I would love to see HD competing better on price and performance with its gas-powered bikes instead of putting out high-priced bikes like the LiveWire.

Still, Waheed’s review of the bike is noteworthy. The bike itself is noteworthy, and if you have any interest in the motorcycle, I suggest you watch the video above.
