The Honda Pacific Coast Is the Car of the Motorcycle World

The Honda Pacific Coast is one of the oddest motorcycles Honda has ever produced. However, it’s an interesting bike with an interesting story, and Ryan F9 of FortNine is here to tell it.

The bike is the car of the motorcycle world, as he puts it. It has a trunk, coverings for everything, and some clever engineering and design work that makes it easy every day.

This might not be the sexiest motorcycle, but it’s probably one of the most useful.

Honda Pacific Coast: Good Idea but Flawed

I remember the first time I saw a Honda Pacific Coast. It was (and still is) especially ugly.

Everything is hidden, and the engine and other various components are part of what makes a motorcycle beautiful.

Still, something that looked so streamlined and smooth was different, and when I learned of the giant trunk this thing has, I had a kind of admiration for it.

The Honda Pacific Coast is a weird bike. It’s a bike that wasn’t a hit because it’s weird. Honda may have produced a bike designed for the car driver, as Ryan says in the video above, but if they had made it look sat all more interesting than a bar of soap, it might have been a little more popular. Then again, maybe not.
