Black Tea Motorbikes is a German electric motorcycle manufacturer. Its new bike Bonfire is now entering series production.

The company has been making some noise for a little while now with its little enduro motorcycle, but until recently production had not been confirmed.

Soon the little scrambler motorcycle will be rolling out of the production facility.

Black Tea Motorbikes Is Ready

“We’ve been anxiously awaiting the production start of the Bonfire in Munich and we’re pleased to say we’re only about three months delayed from our initial production start in April,” said Viktor Sommer CEO of Black Tea Motorbikes.

“Due to the impact of Corona, we have experienced a lot of delays from suppliers and also price increases in raw materials. However, we are on track and we will now speed up production to send out all Indiegogo orders as soon as possible.”

The Bonfire is designed to be a bike for exploring. But it also is supposed to be something that you could use as a commuter. The bike has a top speed of 45 mph. It has a charge time of three hours, and a WMTC tested range of 55km per charge, which is roughly 34 miles. The bike is affordable, too. It starts at 3,999 €, which is about $4,707.
