Stark Future has taken its already lightweight VARG SM electric supermoto and shaved another 2.4 pounds off the total. The result is the Sköll, a limited-edition version that weighs just 272 lb.
That figure makes it the lightest VARG SM Stark has built. The weight came off not by drilling holes in the battery or stripping components, but through a targeted titanium diet.
Titanium Where It Counts
The savings come from two sources. 3D-printed titanium footpegs drop 140 grams compared to the standard parts, while a complete titanium bolt kit removes another 900 grams.
Stark kept the changes to controls and fasteners rather than unsprung or rotating mass. That means suspension behavior carries over unchanged from the standard SM, with no damping adjustments required.
The bike retains the VARG SM’s 7.2 kWh battery, carbon-fiber-sleeved permanent-magnet motor, and single-speed drive. Peak output holds at 80 hp with 674 lb-ft of rear-wheel torque. Range is rated at up to 113 miles in urban riding and 50 miles under WMTC testing.
500 Units, All Black
Production is capped at 500 individually numbered units worldwide, with no second run planned. Every eligible component has been anodized, powder-coated, or treated to a deep black finish, including the triple clamps, swingarm, motor housing, and inverter casing.
One detail refuses to join the blackout. The gold RK MXU ultra-wide-ring 520 chain stays gold.
The Sköll runs Stark’s full ALPHA specification with Dynamic Traction Control, tunable power curves, regenerative braking, and handlebar-adjustable ride modes. KYB supplies the suspension with a 48mm closed-cartridge fork and a triple-adjustable rear shock. A 320mm front disc with a four-piston Brembo caliper handles braking.
Pricing sits at $14,990, which is $950 more than the standard VARG SM ALPHA. First deliveries are scheduled for October 2026. The bike is road legal and A1-license compatible in Europe, with Class M eligibility in the US.
Stark’s limited-edition approach across the VARG line has followed a consistent formula: same platform, premium materials, exclusive finish, capped production. The Sköll fits that pattern exactly, arriving shortly after limited editions of the VARG MX and EX, and following Stark’s recent entry into Australian supercross.
