The Kawasaki Eliminator Is Back

It’s good to see a new Eliminator.

Kawasaki Eliminator 450

The Kawasaki Eliminator has been out of the lineup for several years, but now it’s returning for 2023. The bike will come back to the Kawasaki lineup as a 400cc cruiser motorcycle with a sleek look.

The Kawasaki Eliminator Looks Like a Great Small Cruiser

The new Eliminator was revealed at the Osaka Motorcycle Show in Japan, according to Cycle World. The bike will be offered as the Eliminator 400 and 400 SE (a higher-spec version). The platform is based on the Ninja 400 and Z400 but is its own bike.

The 400cc twin-cylinder engine makes 48hp, and that’s not a ton, but it’s enough to compete with the other smaller displacement cruiser motorcycles out there.

The new Eliminator uses a steel-tube frame, with twin rear shocks, an 18-inch wheel up front, and a 16-inch wheel in the rear. The SE gets a nose cowl fork gaiters and some additional tech (GPS, USB-C, front and rear cameras, traction control, and an LCD instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity). The bike has a 3.2-gallon fuel tank and a low 28.9-inch seat height (additional seat heights available with options).

The expected price is right around $5,733 for the base model and will be sold in Japan first, but you can expect this to come to the US to compete with the Honda Rebel 300 and 500.
