Sena Technologies has introduced an industry-first Limited Lifetime Warranty program for its motorcycle communication systems, significantly expanding long-term support for its helmet intercoms.
This is a pretty big deal in the space. I would expect other companies to follow suit eventually, but for now Sena is the only company offering something like this.
The New Policy Is Good
Under the new policy, the main headset unit receives lifetime protection against manufacturing defects and material failures for the original owner.
If Sena officially discontinues a specific model, that unit’s limited lifetime coverage remains active for five years following the official discontinuation announcement.

Dedicated components like clamp kits and internal batteries are covered by a five-year warranty from the purchase date, with battery claims specifically valid if capacity drops below 50 percent within that timeframe. Standard accessories not explicitly included with the main unit remain governed by their standard limited product warranties.
Coverage is strictly non-transferable and requires valid proof of purchase from an authorized Sena dealer.
While device registration through the Sena Motorcycles App is not mandatory to retain warranty rights, Sena strongly encourages it to expedite future claims.
The policy covers standard electronic and mechanical defects under normal use, while excluding normal wear and tear, accident damage, unauthorized disassembly, or third-party modifications.
Sena is launching this warranty with flagship devices like the 60S / 60S EVO and SPIDER X Slim, with plans to roll it out to additional models in its product line.
