The RST Moto Tractech Evo D3O race suit is built for track day riders who want a single piece suit, CE AAA certification, and D3O armor without spending on a flagship suit.
It occupies the mid-range of the race suit market. This RST suit is serious protection at a price that doesn’t require a sponsor. Here’s the full breakdown.

CE AAA Certification
CE AAA is the highest garment protection rating under the EN 17092 standard. For a race suit, this means the outer shell materials have passed abrasion testing equivalent to a slide at approximately 70 km/h (43 mph).
Most mid-range race suits sit at CE AA the Tractech Evo D3O stepping up to AAA puts it in the same certification tier as suits costing significantly more.
D3O Level 2 Armor
D3O Level 2 armor is fitted at the shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees. D3O is a rate-sensitive material soft and flexible during normal movement, but stiffening instantly on impact to absorb and distribute force. Level 2 is the higher CE armor tier, transmitting no more than 9 kN of force to the body on impact.
The back and chest have pockets only no armor included. RST recommends adding a CE-rated back protector and chest protector for full track coverage, which is standard practice for suits in this price range.

Construction
The outer shell uses RST’s AST-Pro construction a durable material developed for abrasion resistance in race applications.
The interior uses a detachable quick-dry stretch mesh liner that moves with the suit and keeps airflow circulating. The liner can be removed for washing independently of the outer shell.
Ergonomics and Fit
RST redesigned the Tractech Evo with a redefined collar, pre-curved knees, and an optimized overall fit.
Pre-curved knees are a meaningful ergonomic improvement they reduce the bunching and restriction that flat-cut knee panels create in a tuck position. The aim is to minimize fatigue over a full track day rather than just fitting well in a showroom.

Pros and Cons
Pros:
- CE AAA certified top garment protection rating
- D3O Level 2 armor at shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees
- Pre-curved knees for better riding position comfort
- Detachable quick-dry mesh liner
- Competitive mid-range price for a AAA-rated one-piece suit
Cons:
- No back or chest armor included pockets only
- AST-Pro is not leather lower abrasion resistance ceiling than cowhide suits
- Limited color options
The Tractech Evo D3O makes CE AAA and D3O Level 2 protection accessible without jumping to a four-figure race suit. Riders who track their bikes occasionally and want legitimate safety credentials rather than entry-level gear will find this a practical choice at the price.
