This week Bimota, Royal Enfield, and the state of Missouri are in the news stories I’ve rounded up.

Missouri Eases Helmet Laws

Ok, so the Missouri governor signed into law a bill that would eliminate the requirement for riders in the state to go without helmets if they’re 26 years old and have health insurance. It’s the wrong move. Helmets save lives and helmet laws ensure motorcyclists wear them.

Bimota Tesi H2 Will Go Into Production in September

The Bimota Tesi H2 is a sportbike from Bimota that uses a supercharged four-cylinder from the Kawasaki H2. The bike will enter production in September. Right now, Bimota is testing it at racetracks in Italy.

Royal Enfield Motorcycle Will Compete in AFT

American Flat Track (AFT) is a big deal, and Royal Enfield will race in the competition with its own bike based on the INT650. Johnny Lewis will be the racer for the company. He is also running the Royal Enfield Slide School, which teaches riders how to race flat track.
