Norton featherbed frame and the Triumph Bonneville engine makes the Icon Motorcycles Triton.

If you didn’t know what the 60s and 70s Triton motorcycles were, the bikes featured the Norton featherbed frame and Triumph Bonneville engines to make one special cafe racer. Icon Motorcycles wants to remake that.

The company is planning to do the same, but with a modern engine. The Dutch company doesn’t have prices on the bike just yet, but you can expect these will be pricey machines.

The company will use Norton’s featherbed frame. In terms of the engine, the company will use the air and oil-cooled 900cc parallel engine that came out of the previous Thruxton motorcycle.

The company will build the motorcycles by hand and according to customer’s orders. It’s unclear what these bikes will cost, but Norton motorcycles cost around $22,000 so you can bet the price tag to be quite high.
