A killer two-tone glove for mild to cold weather.
Icon makes some seriously good motorcycle gear, and I recently came across their Icon 1000 Axys Gloves.
The Axys Gloves offer a modern look without a whole bunch of dumb or obnoxious colors. It’s a simple two-tone glove with ample protection
Goatskin Palm, Cow Hide Leather
The construction of the glove is designed to retain heat and provide good range of motion. That means it’s probably not the best glove for hot days.
The palm material is goatskin, which gives you a closer fit than typical leather. It’s a thinner material and that may mean it’s not as durable.
The rest of the glove is tough leather, and there are D30 knuckle inserts on the outside that provide additional protection. Pair that with the expansion gussets to facilitate good movement and you have a killer glove.
Overall, the Icon 1000 Axys Gloves offer good protection in an attractive package. If you’re looking for a good mild to cold weather glove, this could be a good choice. You can also pair the gloves with the rest of the Axys collection for a cohesive look, though the gloves would work well with any gear, really.
