Check Out Ducati’s 2022 Streetfighter V2 and V4 SP

Ducati Streetfighter V2

Ducati recently revealed two new versions of the Streetfighter. Meet the Ducati 2022 Streetfighter V2 and V4 SP.

Both of these motorcycles are fantastic offerings, but the Streetfighter V2 is the bike that stands out here to me.

Let’s take a closer look at what these two new motorcycles offer.

2022 Ducati Streetfighter V2

Ducati Streetfighter V2

The Ducati Streetfighter V2 is based on the Panigale V2. It offers a more upright riding position and some wider handlebars and obviously a naked design overall.

It gets a dual-cylinder 955cc Euro 5-compliant Superquadro engine. That engine makes 153hp and 75 lb-ft of torque. The bike has been optimized for the street with a shortened final gear ratio of 15/45.

The bike gets a single-sided swingarm, a 43mm Show BPF fork and Sachs shock (both adjustable), Pirelli Diablo Rosso iV tires, and the same braking system as the Panigale V2.

The bike gets essentially the same electronics package as the Panigale V2, too. It includes a 6-axis IMU that provides ABS Cornerings EVO, traction control, wheelie control, quick shifting, and engine brake control. There are also three ride modes: Sport, Road, and Wet. Full LED lighting and a TFT screen complete the package.

Ducati has an MSRP of $16,995 on the Streetfighter V2. Ducati plans to have bikes in showrooms in December of this year.

2022 Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP

Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP

The sharp end of the Streetfighter stick is the V4 SP. This bike is the one that beats out even the Streetfighter V4 S. It features improvements to the chassis that set it apart.

The bike gets split-spoke carbon rims that are three pounds lighter. Ducati stated that it reduces inertia by 26 percent at the front and 46 percent at the rear. This makes the bike feel even lighter.

The brakes are now Brembo Stylemas R models, which should improve performance even more. The electronic suspension is now Ohlins Smart EC 2.0, which is a step above the other versions of the Streetfighter V4.

In addition to all of these changes, the V4 SP got some updates to the engine too, to reduce resistance and make the bike perform better than ever before.

The price Ducati put on this bike is $35,500. If you want one of these you’ll have to wait until 2022.
