This burly, custom 2024 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 built by Dan Starmer of Fastec Racing under the legendary UK custom shop name “Sold Out Motorcycles” is so cool.

Built for a client whose previous Interceptor had been written off in an accident, the machine completely pivots from its original blacked-out concept after the owner fell in love with a striking chrome gas tank.

Chrome Never Looked So Good on a Royal Enfield

This shift towards chrome helped turn the project into a chunky, “Chromium Brat” tracker that stole the spotlight at the London Bike Shed Moto Show.

To handle the massive 16-inch rims and thick, fat-profile BEC Black 500 tires, Fastec threw on their signature wide front-end kit, complete with custom yokes, stem, risers, and fat handlebars, while cutting down the rear subframe to accept a clean rear-loop kit, a short mudguard, and an in-house “Long Shot” cone exhaust system.

The minimalist cockpit rounds out the build by integrating micro-switchgear, a relocated ignition, and bar-end indicators, transforming the traditional commuter bike into a polished, muscular street-shredder with an incredibly aggressive stance.
