Analog Motorcycles has transformed a 1975 BMW R90/6 into a refined custom build appropriately named “The Gentleman.”
The project carries sentimental value, as the owner inherited the bike from his late father and wanted to modernize it without losing its classic soul. The result is a timeless, blacked-out machine accented with subtle brown leather touches.
This Custom BMW R90/6 Is the Sleek Machine You Want as a Gentleman
Tony Prust of Analog focused heavily on perfecting the bike’s stance and usability. While the main frame is stock, a custom subframe was fabricated to accommodate a longer, two-up seat, allowing the owner to share the ride. T
he electronics were completely overhauled with a Motogadget Mo.unit hidden in a custom battery tray, and the rear was cleaned up with a handmade fender and Analog’s signature lighting pods.

Mechanically, the bike received a full top-to-bottom restoration. The engine and transmission were rebuilt by Apex Cycle Shop, and modern reliability was added via a VAPE ignition and charging system.
The handling was sharpened with Race Tech Gold Valve emulators in the forks and Hyperpro shocks in the rear. Topped off with premium finishes like a Magura HC1 master cylinder and Cone Engineering mufflers, “The Gentleman” is built to be a durable, high-performing legacy piece.
