Can-Am has given the Ryker a substantial update for 2027, with changes aimed at the three-wheeler’s engine, chassis, electronics, and bodywork. The revised range keeps the format approachable while adding more equipment to the standard package.
The 2027 lineup includes the regular Ryker, the Ryker Sport, and a one-year Special Series package. That gives Can-Am a way to keep the base model near its entry point while offering a more heavily equipped version for buyers who want the extra hardware.

More Structure, More Information
Can-Am revised the front bodywork with a longer upper section and a new LED headlight design. The company also increased chassis rigidity and reinforced the steering system, changes that should matter most when the Ryker is loaded with luggage or pushed through a series of corners.
The Vehicle Stability System now combines updated anti-lock braking, traction control, and stability control functions. A five-inch color display and handlebar-mounted controls join the electronics package, while new accessories include luggage, windscreens, extra lighting, and an audio system.
Engine choices depend on the version. The standard Ryker uses a 52-horsepower Rotax 900 ACE-9, while the Sport receives the 80-horsepower version of the same inline-three platform, both paired with a continuously variable transmission and shaft drive.
Pricing starts at $9,999 for the standard model and $13,499 for the Ryker Sport. The 2027 Special Series package costs $15,499 and adds unique body panels, dedicated wrap kits, Liquid Titanium wheels, Kashima-coated front shocks, a premium seat, and an Akrapovič exhaust.
That pricing places the Ryker in a different lane from conventional motorcycles, but the comparison still matters. Can-Am is selling a vehicle with automatic transmission, reverse, stability electronics, and two front wheels, which may appeal to riders who want an open-air machine without the balance demands of a traditional bike.
The Sport’s added power and suspension equipment make it the more interesting version on paper, although the standard Ryker remains the clearer value play. I would want to ride both before deciding whether the stiffer structure changes the experience as much as the specification sheet suggests.

The 2027 Can-Am Ryker is scheduled to arrive with meaningful changes rather than a simple color update. The new chassis work, electronic revisions, and expanded trim structure give buyers more reasons to consider the unusual three-wheeler.
