Brabus and KTM Team Up for the Brabus 1300 R Edition 23

Brabus 1300 R Edition 23 is made with the help of KTM's parts and components.

Based on the KTM 1290 Super Duke R Evo, the new and dazzlingly gorgeous Brabus 1300 R Edition 23 is the latest collaboration between KTM and Brabus. The bike brings the LC8 1,301cc V-twin engine from KTM’s portfolio to a special-edition, modern-cafe-racer-looking bike.

Brabus 1300 R Edition 23 Is Seriously Exclusive

Only 290 of the Brabus 1300 R Edition 223 will be made. There will be 145 of each colorway. The colorways include Superblack and Stealth Gray.

The engine I mentioned earlier will rocket this bike around. It makes 180 hp at 9,500 rpm and 103 lb-ft of torque at 8,000 rpm.

Only 290 of the Brabus 1300 R Edition 23 will be made in 2023.

It’s not just a restyled KTM, though. This bike has tricks all its own. It uses tons of carbon fiber, Brabus Monoblock Z nine-spoke forged wheels in Platinum Black, and a fancy custom exhaust.

It gets WP Apex semi-active suspension and WP Pro Components steering damper. You’ll find five ride modes: Street, Sport, Rain, Performance, and Track; heated grips; and a lightweight lithium-ion battery.

Pre-orders will open on February 16, 2023, at 9 am eastern time. Learn more at KTM’s website.
