6 Ducati World Premiere Events Announced

Ducati DesertX

Ducati has some new motorcycles coming, and to support the release of these bikes, the company has six world premiere events scheduled.

The events will start September 30 and run through to December 9. So that’s every two weeks you’ll get to dee a new bike from Ducati.

All of the details about what bikes will be revealed aren’t known just yet, but here’s a closer look at what I do know.

What’s Coming from Ducati World Premiere Events?

I’ll start with what I definitely know and then branch out to the things that I’m not quite sure of yet.

First up, the Ducati DesertX. It is an off-road, adventure-style motorcycle. Ducati revealed a concept bike in 2019 that was based on the Ducati Scrambler. That bike looked close to complete so this one comes as no surprise. Ducati will save this model for last.

In terms of what else I know, I’m limited to what Ducati has released. Here’s the information from the company about the sessions:

  • September 30, 2021: Ducati World Première:
Episode 1 | Your everyday wonder
  • October 14, 2021: Ducati World Première:
Episode 2 | Mark your roots
  • October 28, 2021: Ducati World Première:
Episode 3 | Rule all mountains
  • November 11, 2021: Ducati World Première:
Episode 4 | A new Fighter in town
  • November 25, 2021: Ducati World Première:
Episode 5 | The evolution of Speed
  • December 9, 2021: Ducati World Première:
    Episode 6 | Dream Wilder – DesertX

The other premieres do hint at what they could be, so I’ll take a stab at it.

Episode one could certainly be a new everyday commuter bike. Episode two I’d bet on some kind of Monster variant. That bike has been in Ducati’s lineup for decades and a new version is welcomed. Episode three is likely a Multistrada, possibly a Pikes Peak edition. Episode four is likely a streetfighter based on the Panigale V2. Episode five has to be a new version of the Panigale.

Those are my guesses. Personally, I’m most excited for the DesertX, but I’m thrilled to see Ducati putting six new or updated models out there.
