Moto Guzzi will open its redeveloped factory and new museum in Mandello del Lario, Italy, during GMG Moto Guzzi World Days 2026. The event runs from September 3 through 6 and also marks the company’s 105th anniversary.
The site remains in the same location where Moto Guzzi has built motorcycles continuously since 1921. This new facility expands the historic footprint with updated production areas, visitor spaces, a Motoplex Store, a café, and rooms for workshops and events.
A Factory Built Around Production and Visitors
Moto Guzzi says the 21st-century models will continue to roll out from Mandello, pairing current manufacturing with a museum focused on the brand’s design and engineering history. The museum occupies space within the original factory perimeter rather than moving the story to a separate location.
That approach gives the facility two jobs. It supports the motorcycles that Moto Guzzi builds today while making the manufacturing site part of the visitor experience.
The September program includes free admission after online registration, test rides across the Moto Guzzi range, four days of music, and a Saturday parade from Lecco to Mandello del Lario. Organizers expect thousands of riders and fans from around the world.
What the Opening Means for Moto Guzzi
Moto Guzzi previously outlined plans for a new production facility alongside the V100 Mandello launch. The 2026 opening shows how that long-term project has expanded into a combined factory, museum, retail, and events hub.
For riders, the important detail is continuity. Moto Guzzi is updating the place where it makes its motorcycles without separating the new operation from more than a century of Mandello history.
