This crazy custom motorcycle puts together a Norton bike with a Kawasaki two-stroke. Meet the Norsaki.
The “Norsaki” is a custom motorcycle built by David of Davmomoto for his client, Richard Aspery, who wanted a unique machine for his annual trips to the Texas Hill Country.
A Two Stroke Triple in a Featherbed Frame
The build seamlessly mates a classic 1955 Norton Dominator featherbed frame with a 1974 Kawasaki S3 Mach II two-stroke triple engine. The concept was inspired by a 1969 Isle of Man TT racer that ran a similar frame-and-engine configuration but had to drop out because the exhaust pipes dragged through the corners.
To fix this inherent design flaw, Richard and David engineered a brilliant workaround: routing the impressive expansion chamber pipes inside the frame structure itself.

The primary goal of the project was to break custom-building rules while still preserving some of the original, timeless elegance of a 1950s Norton. The iconic featherbed frame was chosen for its historically ahead-of-its-time handling capabilities, while the snappy, three-cylinder Kawasaki two-stroke powerplant was selected to give the bike better punch for digging hard out of corners.
Recently showcased at the 2026 Handbuilt Motorcycle Show, the finished “Norsaki” stands as a highly unique fusion of British chassis geometry and vintage Japanese two-stroke performance.
