There are thousands of cool custom motorcycles out there, but this custom Honda XR650L scrambler might take the cake for me.

Spencer Parr of Parr Motorcycles from my own neck of the woods in Indiana transformed a 2024 Honda XR650L, a durable dual-sport that has been in production for over 30 years, into the stunning “Sunrise Scrambler,” designed to look as if it rolled off the Honda assembly line in the 1970s.

This Custom Honda XR650L Scrambler Is Everything You Want and Nothing Else

The build maintains the XR650L’s rugged performance while blending modern components with retro aesthetics, including a modified XL500S fuel tank painted in nostalgic Honda Flake Sunrise Orange, a custom subframe and a bespoke seat from @plzbeseated.

The scrambler rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear Warp 9 wheels, is powered by a Lectron carburetor and a Big Gun header with a handmade tailpipe, and is fitted with a mix of updated lighting (including an LED-swapped Hella headlight) and Motogadget electronics, successfully achieving a seamless, factory-like retromod appearance.
