Yamaha TMAX XX: Check Out This Custom TMAX Tech MAX

Custom motorcycles have long been the unruly poets of the road—machines built not just to ride, but to declare something about the soul behind the handlebars. But what about scooters?

Enter the 2024 Yamaha TMAX Tech MAX, or rather, what’s left of it after Ortolani Customs got their hands on it. Their latest creation, the Yamaha TMAX XX, isn’t just another tricked-out scooter—it’s a full-blown track-inspired beast, so wild that even Yamaha had to stop and take notice, giving it a nod on their official Facebook page.

This Custom Yamaha TMAX Tech MAX Will Make You Rethink Scooters, Meet the Yamaha TMAX XX

The first thing that smacks you in the face is the bodywork. Forget the tame lines of a stock TMAX—Ortolani ripped the rulebook to shreds.

The front fairings are now hand-crafted aluminum, broad-shouldered and aggressive, giving the scooter a stance that says, ‘Come at me.’ A NASCAR-style rear spoiler adds to the drama—functional? Maybe not. But does it look like something straight out of a cyberpunk fever dream?

Absolutely. Yellow-tinted headlights glare menacingly, while rear wings from BCD Design stretch out like talons. Even the tires wear NASCAR-style decals, because why not?

And this thing isn’t just a pretty face. The stock wheels? Gone. In their place, a set of 17-inch Yamaha MT-09 wheels, tucked in with custom-machined spacers and an extended chain pass. The controls get an upgrade, too—Puig mass-carved aluminum levers, Rizoma Stealth mirrors, all the little details that separate a showpiece from a proper machine.

Then there’s the seat. NMB Design stitched together a masterpiece in leather and suede, hexagonally quilted for that premium touch. The whole build is wrapped in a custom paint job, punctuated by a Termignoni Black/Carbon exhaust system that doesn’t just whisper performance—it growls it.

Scooters, particularly maxi-scooters, aren’t typically the canvas for high-performance wizardry. But this? This is the exception. Aggressive, purpose-built, and just the right amount of insanity.

The only question left is—would you ride it? Maybe even send it around a track, just to see what this beast can do? One thing’s certain: the TMAX XX doesn’t just elevate the maxi-scooter game. It obliterates the playbook entirely.
