You can almost smell the gasoline and hear the turbo spool up as Dustin Kott’s latest creation roars to life. He’s always had a knack for turning wrecks into works of art, but this time, he’s outdone himself with “Rocket Man”—a turbocharged Honda CB750 from 1975 that looks poised to set new speed records at Bonneville.
Making a Venerable Bike Better, Kott’s Kott Motorcycles Custom Turbocharged Honda CB750 Is a Beast
This isn’t just any rebuild. Kott went all-in, hunting down a rare ATP turbo kit and learning the arcane science of tuning a carbureted turbo setup. The engine? Packed with drag racing heritage, thanks to legendary R.C. Engineering parts tucked inside.
Kott didn’t stop with the engine either. The frame’s been reinforced, custom rearsets added, and the whole thing powder-coated black for that sharp, clean look. Up front, a set of Suzuki GSXR forks polished to a mirror shine handle the bumps, while big twin calipers and braided lines take care of the braking. The handmade aluminum bodywork is all Kott, sleek and purposeful, topped with a minimalist seat cowl and tight front fender.
This bike isn’t just for show. With 120 horsepower on tap and a custom exhaust to let it breathe, “Rocket Man” is ready to scream down the highway—and it’s taking no prisoners.
