The new Husqvarna Vitpilen 801, the “White Arrow,” follows the Svartpilen 801 as a stylish roadster with performance borrowed from the KTM 790 Duke. Underneath, it shares the same 799cc parallel-twin engine, producing a potent 105 horsepower and 64 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed transmission and adjustable ride modes. But where the Svartpilen goes for a rugged, scrambler vibe, the Vitpilen opts for sharper, more aggressive lines and a lower, sportier riding position.
Sharp, Scandanavian, and Totally Badass: The 2025 Husqvarna Vitpilen 801 Takes a Bow
Visually, the two machines—the Vitpilen and Svartpilen—are close cousins. They have the same chassis, and similar bodywork, but the Vitpilen stands out with a more angular headlight, different radiator shrouds, and a splash of yellow paint (or a more subtle silver). It rides on Michelin Road 6 tires, compared to the Svartpilen’s knobbier Pirelli MT60s, hinting at its road-biased intentions.
Underneath, WP suspension keeps things planted, with adjustable forks offering 5.5 inches of travel up front, and a rear shock providing 5.9 inches of movement. Brembo brakes, cornering ABS, and traction control ensure the Vitpilen has the tech to match its looks, with more features available for those willing to pay extra for Husqvarna’s Dynamic mode package.
The five-inch TFT display, smartphone connectivity, and a compact 3.7-gallon fuel tank round out the package. The Vitpilen 801 is set to hit showrooms in November, though Husqvarna hasn’t released pricing just yet. It’s a bike that promises precision and performance, all wrapped in Husqvarna’s signature Scandinavian cool.
