Back in April, I reported that Kawasaki had filed CARB Certification paperwork for a new Eliminator. Now, that bike is official. The bike is listed on the company’s website, and it looks pretty good.
Meet the 2024 Kawasaki Eliminator
The new Kawasaki Eliminator is a modern cruiser with a trellis-style frame and the engine from the Ninja 400 and Z400 but with some updates and increased displacement.
You get a 451cc parallel-twin engine that is liquid-cooled and makes 31.7 lb-ft of torque at 7,500 rpm. Pair that with a slipper clutch and you have an easy-to-ride bike that should have enough to keep moderately skilled riders happy.
The Eliminator features 4.7 inches of suspension travel up front and 3.5 inches of travel in the rear. The brakes are dual-piston discs at both ends with ABS as an option. The wheels are a 16-inch wheel at the rear and an 18-inch wheel at the front.
You’ll get a single off-center gauge that shows revs, speed, some indicator lights, and pretty standard controls lifted from Kawasaki’s parts bin. There’s a single round headlight up front and the bike comes in gray, orange, and white from what I’m seeing on the website.
It comes in a standard model ($6,649), an ABS model ($6,949), and an ABS SE model ($7,249). The SE ABS model features some special colors and graphics as well as a headlight cowl, fork boots, USB-c charging, and a two-pattern seat cover.
