Cruiser motorcycles are great and the good folks at Cycle World did a cruiser shootout with Harley-Davidson Nightster vs. Honda Rebel 1100 DCT vs. Indian Scout Rogue. These are three of the coolest and most modern cruisers out there.
A Cruiser Shootout Worth Watching
Cruisers have a unique appeal. They’re not the fastest like sportbikes are, and they’re not the most capable like adventure bikes are, but they are great for riding here in the states.
The Nightster, Rebel 1100 DCT, and Scout Rouge are all new and enticing entrants into the segment.
The best cruiser of the bunch really depends on the rider, but the gents at Cycle World seemed to like the way the Rebel 1100 DCT performed and rode, but they liked the Harley and Indian for other reasons. Personally, I’d lean toward the Rebel, too. It seems to elevate what a cruiser can be while still paying homage to the past of the segment.
