This airbag vest is designed specifically for riders to go to the track. It has a mechanical tether and deploys when the tether separates from the bike.
This vest protects your neck, cervical vertebrae, shoulders, and dorsal and thoracic areas of your torso, so you can ride harder and be safer.
Hit-Air RS-1 Airbag Vest – Some Added Protection
The vest offers a 60cc CO2 cartridge that inflates the vest in only 150 to 190 milliseconds. This is before your body will hit the pavement.
In addition to the inflation, the vest offers a standard back protector. A velcro belt ensures it’s a perfect fit and the vest stays right where you want it.
The RS-1 comes in M, L, XL, and 2XL—really large people and really small people need not apply. It also comes in black, blue, red, or white. Hit-Air has an MSRP of $699 on it.
