Want a scooter jacket that looks like it could be a casual jacket? Check out the Highway 21 Gearhead Jacket. This jacket features a 2-in-1 system. It has a water-resistant outer shell with armor and a removable hoody with armor pockets. This means you really get two jackets in one. There are plenty of pockets and some waist adjustment, too.

5. REV’IT! Eclipse Jacket
I’ve talked about the Rev’It! Eclipse Jacket before. It’s a great jacket for the money and deserves to be among the best scooter jackets. It will work on a scooter just as well as any motorcycle. Personally, I see this being one of the best scooter jackets out here. The jacket features a mesh and polyester fabric construction. It also comes with CE protection in the shoulders and elbows as well as adjustments at the waist and cuffs and looks for attaching to jeans. There’s also plenty of pockets and some reflective piping.

6. REV’IT! Stealth 2 Hoody
Want to blend in and not let people know you ride? Well, the Rev’It! Stealth 2 Hoody is a perfect jacket and another that deserves to be among this list of the best scooter jackets. It looks pretty much like any olde jacket with a hood on it. In reality, it’s made of Cordura stretch denim 3L and provides great protection. It also features CE level-1 protection in the shoulders and elbows. There is also a space for a back protector. It offers a few good pockets and reflective material at the top of the back.

7. Spidi Vintage Jacket
Some of you may fight me on this and call the Spidi Vintage jacket more of a cafe racer jacket than anything, but I think on the right vintage scooter, this jacket can work. It features waxed cowhide construction, a removable 80g thermal vest, CE level 1 armor in the shoulders, and room for a back protector. It also has snap adjustment at the waist and Spidi badging. You can get a rain liner, though it’s sold separately.

8. Belstaff Temple Jacket
The Belstaff temple Jacket is a fantastic scooter jacket. It is built of heavy nylon fabric with mesh panels at the sleeves. There’s also a mesh liner and CE armor in the shoulders and elbows. The jacket has some gussets with snaps at the cuffs and adjustment at the waist. There’s some small reflective detailing, too.

9. Merlin Wesley Jacket
Of all the jackets on this list, the Merlin Wesley is probably truly the best for scooter riders. It’s a fantastic lightweight jacket that provides good protection. The jacket offers Halley Stevensons 10 ounce super dry soft cotton outer layer that’s been treated and is water-resistant. There’s also DuPont Kevlar twill shoulders, elbows, and back as well as CE level-2 armor in the elbows and shoulders. The cuffs and hem are ribbed, and there’s a traditional tartan lining as well as YKK zippers.

10. Merlin Kingstone Wax Jacket
Another great option from Merilin for scooter riders is the Merlin Kingstone Wax Jacket. It offers a waxed cotton construction, has a removable 125g thermal liner, Reissa waterproof and breathable drop membrane, CE approved armor in the shoulders and elbows, a pocket for a back protector, YKK zippers, two lower patch pockets, two chest pockets, and hand pockets. There’s also a hood that stores in the collar, and adjustment at the cuffs and hem.
