I’m always scrolling through the classifieds listings, both local and otherwise for interesting motorcycles, and this 1959 Ducati 175 Sport cafe racer recently caught my eye.
Now, I have no more room in my shed at the moment, but I will say that this Ducati is a really tempting machine and it has a racing history that I find pretty cool.
It’s for sale right now with a list price of $7,250. Let’s get into the bike’s details.
For those who don’t know, the Ducati 175 Sport was a motorcycle with a Four stroke, single cylinder, SOHC with two valves. It had a 175.4 cc displacement, and it was, of course, carbureted (Dell’Orto MB22.5B carburetor).
This particular bike was specifically built for and ridden in the 2004 Motogiro d’Italia, according to the listing on Hemmings. The listing has images and documentation to prove it.
The seller says he has a valid Virginia title and the bike runs well. He’s open to face-to-face deals and sounds pretty firm on the price. This bike looks absolutely killer.
If you’re interested in it, I highly suggest checking out the images below and looking at the listing on Hemmings. Who knows, maybe you’ll fall in love.
