Iconic Italian boutique motorcycle manufacturer Bimota is officially returning to the United States market.

American enthusiasts can now purchase the brand’s ultra-exclusive machines through a dedicated partnership with Bimota Spirit, located in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Ready for Your Bimota?

The boutique importer will serve as the sole official retailer for Bimota in the U.S., offering limited-production runs across several of the brand’s most sought-after modern models.

For years, acquiring a modern Bimota on American soil was a complicated affair involving gray-market imports, complicated titling procedures, and tricky parts availability.

That hurdle has finally been removed thanks to Bimota’s backing from Kawasaki, which acquired a 49.9% stake in the legendary Italian company back in 2019.

This financial and technical partnership allows Bimota to pair its hand-built, bespoke Italian frame architecture with reliable, high-performance engines sourced directly from Kawasaki.

Headline models bound for the U.S. include the radical Tesi H2 and its adventure-touring sibling, the Tesi H2 TERA. Both hyper-exclusive machines feature Bimota’s signature hub-center steering front suspension setup paired with Kawasaki’s 998cc supercharged inline-four engine, delivering over 200 horsepower in a uniquely engineered chassis.

Also joining the American lineup is the race-focused KB998 Rimini, a machine closely linked to Bimota’s WorldSBK racing program. Built around a lightweight chassis and a superbike-spec engine, it represents the absolute peak of the brand’s track-focused engineering.

For riders seeking classic retro styling mixed with modern sportbike performance, the shipment includes the cafe-racer styled KB4 and its stripped-down counterpart, the KB4RC. Both models draw power from Kawasaki’s naturally aspirated 1,043cc inline-four powerplant, wrapped in carbon fiber bodywork and handcrafted lattice frames.

Because Bimota produces its motorcycles in extremely small batches by hand in Rimini, Italy, availability in the U.S. will remain strictly limited.

However, the formal dealership structure provided by Bimota Spirit gives American buyers direct access to factory support, official warranties, and genuine spare parts for the first time in years.
