Harley-Davidson’s upcoming 2025 Icon model is set to be a tribute to the 35th anniversary of the iconic Fat Boy, and it will be called the Fat Boy Grey Ghost.
This special edition Harley will honor the original 1990 model, known for its striking gray color and yellow highlights, making it a fitting choice for the brand’s exclusive Icon lineup.

The Grey Ghost name, now confirmed after appearing in European homologation documents, harkens back to the original 1990 version, though the American spelling opts for “Gray.”

The model will feature a slight power decrease, with its Milwaukee-Eight 117 Custom engine now putting out 100 horsepower—down from the 103 horsepower of the regular Fat Boy. While the engine will remain largely similar, a circular intake is likely to give a nod to the vintage look.
Visually, expect a color scheme reminiscent of the original, with its distinct silvery gray and machined wheels, potentially featuring yellow accents. The Fat Boy Grey Ghost will likely debut alongside Harley’s full 2025 lineup in the coming months, with an official announcement expected around March or April.
