Buyer’s remorse can haunt even the most enthusiastic spender, but Aussie biker Josh took it to a new level. Wandering into a dealership, he left with a 2022 Harley-Davidson Pan America—an adventure bike, when he wasn’t even the adventuring type.
In a moment of clarity, he turned to Noel Muller of Black Cycles Australia to remedy his impulse buy. Six months later, Josh had a sleek American Super-Scrambler that even Harley might envy. Meet the custom Harley-Davidson Pan America.
Custom Harley-Davidson Pan America – Transforming a Harley Adventure Bike Into a Super-Scrambler
Adventure bikes sell big, but they’re not for everyone. Realizing this, Josh asked Noel to strip down the Pan Am and build something raw and ready.
Noel obliged, sculpting a matte black scrambler prototype that feels like a factory experiment gone beautifully rogue.
Key challenges emerged, starting with the bulky 21-liter tank. Noel’s solution: a sleek, hidden fuel cell with a detachable auxiliary tank below.
Custom panels, sculpted aluminum fenders, and a relocated digital screen added flair. The factory headlight vanished, replaced with a minimalist number board and stacked LEDs.
Josh’s new ride blends scrambler grit with motocross edge, roaring with 156hp and a Vance & Hines growl. It’s not just a bike—it’s redemption on two wheels. Dust and tire smoke, buyer’s remorse no more.
