This Manga-inspired build of a Yamaha XV750 by Purpose Built Moto is a killer bike.
This Yamaha XV750 by Purpose Built Moto is a good example of why the bike is a good one to use to start a dramatic cafe racer transformation. When a client of the shop brought his bike in, he had plenty of ideas.
One of them was to build a Manga-inspired bike. That’s what the shop set out to do.
But bike shop was presented with a few build points. They were raw, slim, and manga/cartoon. According to Purpose Built Moto, the client said, “I wanted the XV750 to look like it could be ridden by the bad guy in a Japanese cartoon.”
That’s a tall order, but as you can tell by the pictures Purpose Built Moto managed to pull it off. The bike is a killer example of what the builder can do and what can be done with a Yamaha XV750.
