Check Out the New CCM Street Moto

CMM Street Moto

The new CCM Street Moto and Street Moto R look fabulous, but will these beautiful boutique machines really entice enough buyers with their high price tag? Let’s take a closer look to see if they bring the goods to justify the price.

This New CCM Street Moto Is a Bike I’d Like to Own But for Less Money

Ah, lightweight naked bikes and supermotos—where two wheels, torque, and temptation meet. These machines aren’t just motorcycles, they’re invitations to let loose. They’ve got agility, power, and a whole lot of hooligan spirit. No surprise that CCM, the boutique British brand known for hand-built bikes, decided to dip their toes into the motard scene with their new Street Moto.

Now, the CCM Street Moto is a stripped-down beauty, boasting minimalist retro styling that screams custom build. It rolls on street rubber, has a chassis light enough to throw around, and a punchy little engine to boot. But here’s the kicker—it comes with a price tag that’ll make your wallet wince. At around $13,000 for the base model and $15,200 for the fancy “R” version, you’re paying boutique prices, no doubt.

But what are you really paying for? Well, it’s not performance, that’s for sure. A Ducati Hypermotard or KTM 690 SMC R will run circles around it in that department, and both come in at similar prices. No, with the CCM Street Moto, you’re buying a statement piece. A hand-built, limited-edition ride that turns heads just by rolling into view.

And if you’re feeling extra flashy, the Street Moto R is where it’s at. Titanium muffler, under-seat exhaust, carbon fiber all over—it’s the kind of bike you park outside the café, not because you’re thirsty, but because you want people to notice.

Sure, the specs are decent—55 horsepower and 43 pound-feet of torque from that 600cc thumper. And at a feathery 306 pounds wet, it’s perfect for all manner of stunt-rider antics. But unless your pockets run deep, you might stick to your trusty old dual-sport for living out your daredevil dreams.
